The District

Florida’s Largest Open-Air Shopping and Entertainment District

Miami Worldcenter is one of the largest private master-planned developments in the United States. Master development began in 2011, the first residences were delivered in 2019, and the district celebrated its grand opening in May 2025 with tree-lined promenades, a 20,000-square-foot central plaza known as World Square, and a walkable mix of retail, restaurants, hotels and residences.

  • Master developers: Miami Worldcenter Associates (Art Falcone and Nitin Motwani) with CIM Group
  • 16 high-rise residential and hospitality towers planned at full buildout
  • Approximately 11,000 residences and more than 1,000 hotel rooms planned
  • Adjacent to Brightline’s MiamiCentral station, with Metrorail, Metromover, Tri-Rail and trolley connections

Public Art

A $5 Million Open-Air Gallery

Miami Worldcenter commissioned a $5 million public art program, so the streets double as a museum. Large-scale murals and sculpture by internationally known artists sit alongside a restored historic Pan Am Globe, a nod to the days when Miami was the gateway to the Americas.

  • Nina Chanel Abney, Nick Cave and Trenton Doyle Hancock
  • Franz Ackermann, Viktor El-Saieh and Serge Toussaint
